Happy Birthday to Grandma Cindy

Grandma came to town Friday afteroon from Fredonia. We took the girls to Aggieville to trick-or-treat and then Seth and I went to see Bob Dylan in concert in Salina that evening. Grandma got to spend some quality time with the girls while we were on our date. They visited Penner's favorite restaurant and Grandma got to play lots of different games per Penner's instructions. She spent the morning with us Saturday and left after lunch. We were very excited to have her in town!

if your wondering why our pumpkin patch pics are taken on the front porch step of our house, i'll tell ya.

i was very excited about the pumpkin patch today; planned on making a cute slide show of pics when we got back. well, when we got to the patch and got the camera out, it wouldn't turn on. needed new battereies. so, i was pretty bummed. i dressed them in matching outfits and rig even let me put a cute ponytail in her hair, which is rare.

so, these are the few pics that i could squeeze in after a long day, right before the sun set this evening. they were cold and not very willing participants.
